Fibre optic networks boast much faster, more stable internet access for multiple aspects of our modern lives, including telephone services, smart home products, Wi-Fi, gaming, smart TVs, online shopping and video calling.<\/p>\n<p>Fibre optic cables offer data transfer rates of up to 10 gigabits per second \u2013 a rate that far outpaces that available with copper cables. Instead of transferring data using conventional electrical conduction, fibre optic cables allow data to be sent at the speed of light.<\/p>\n<p>We measure the chromatic dispersion of the transmitted light pulses for quality control. In addition, we check signal transmission with the PMD measurement as standard.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-2649-1\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-has-style\" ><div class=\"uk-background-gradient-white-midgrey siteorigin-panels-stretch panel-row-style panel-row-style-for-2649-1\" id=\"pmd-cd-messung\" data-stretch-type=\"full\" ><div id=\"pgc-2649-1-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-2649-1-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"2\" ><div class=\"uk-padding-large panel-widget-style panel-widget-style-for-2649-1-0-0\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<h3><span class=\"spaced\"><strong>FttX<\/strong><\/span> <span class=\"uk-text-grey\">\u2013 connection to the fibre optic network<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"uk-text-primary\"><strong>Stage 1: FttC (fibre to the curb)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nFibre to the curb or property boundary. The lines are rolled out up to the grey boxes positioned at the edge of the pavement, called primary connection points (PCPs). These points connect fibre optic cables to each house\u2019s existing copper cables. This falls under network level 3.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"uk-text-primary\"><strong>Stage 2: FttH (fibre to the home)<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nThe fibre optic cable is routed directly to the house. A route is laid branching off from the street leading to the house. The cable is connected to the house through the basement or the house\u2019s central distribution point. <\/p>\n<p><span class=\"uk-text-primary\"><strong>Vectorisation<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nThe old copper lines remain in place, but are connected to fibre optic cabling over short distances. We create reliable frameworks early on for building small cell mobile networks. WirliebenKabel installs public charging stations for operator networks throughout Germany. Vehicles can be charged by connecting vehicles to chargers using a cable (conductive charging system for electric vehicles under DIN EN61851-1). Two charging station models are available:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pgc-2649-7-1\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-2649-7-1-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"15\" ><div class=\"uk-padding panel-widget-style panel-widget-style-for-2649-7-1-0\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<p><span class=\"uk-text-black\"><strong>A)<\/strong><\/span> Rapid charging stations will be located mainly at key central hubs for long-distance traffic to enable electric vehicle users to enjoy high-yield charging in just a short time. The combined charging system (CCS) \u2013 the EU standard for direct current rapid charging \u2013 is used.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"uk-text-black\"><strong>B)<\/strong><\/span> Charging stations for daily commuter traffic, where only a few kilowatt hours of electrical energy are consumed.
